Doug has been training at the Malvern Eskrima Group for Ten years
and acheived his 3rd Degree Black Belt in the Dacayana System of Indigenous Cebuano Martial Arts in March 2013. Like all who grade
through Malvern Eskrima his Grade is endorsed not only by the group but
also by Dacayana UK, Master Jun Dacayana, Sacred Spring and the Shinpi
Izumi Council ...ensuring he has achieved the very highest standard.
Dougs previous Martial arts training included Lau Gar Kung Fu and his experience in this Art has made him a very experienced and effective Eskrima practitioner. Doug is also Graded Highly to Apprentice Instructor in JKD Concepts which gives him a very well rounded approach to his Martial Arts.
Doug is an excellent teacher and has experience of running his own club and hopes to open another soon in Worcester.
